New leveling mortar PCI Polycret 50 for manual and mechanical processing
PCI Augsburg GmbH is launching PCI Polycret 50, a new leveling mortar that is suitable for layer thicknesses from 3 to 50 mm and can be sprayed or applied by hand. For multi-use application, PCI Polycret 50 scores with long working time, high area performance when used by machine and fast setting. This guarantees rapid construction progress.
PCI Polycret 50 adheres to a wide variety of substrates (concrete, aerated concrete, masonry as well as plaster, lime plaster, cement and cement plaster or concrete floors) and can be easily covered with fine plaster, tiles or, in the interior, with a waterproofing layer according to the WTA data sheet (e.g. PCI Barraseal). As a waterproofing plaster, it meets the requirements of a water-repellent plastering mortar, is waterproof, resistant to chlorinated water, weathering and frost and can therefore be used universally indoors and outdoors. Due to its very good adhesion values, PCI Polycret 50 is even suitable for the application of reactive resin coatings.

The 1-component leveling mortar offers a long processing time of up to 50 minutes and is still fast setting: the material can be plastered over or covered with tiles after approx. 5 hours. Thanks to its very good non-sag properties, PCI Polycret 50 can also be applied in high layer thicknesses of up to 50 mm.

Craftsmen can apply the leveling mortar manually with a trowel or spray it on mechanically. When applied by machine, they benefit from the large area coverage and low post-processing effort.

The leveling mortar PCI Polycret 50 is certified as very low-emission according to GEV-EMICODE EC 1 PLUS.

“Craftsmen want a leveling mortar that has an optimal balance between working time, pumpability, post-treatment and strength development. We offer the ideal solution for this with PCI Polycret 50,” says Stephan Tschernek, Head of Marketing PCI Group. "As a material that is easy to spray, the leveling mortar is also excellent for leveling large areas in a short time. This supports rapid construction progress.”
